personal record of educational learning and progress in the completion
of the nMRCGP examination. This document will verify your achievement in
the examinations parts of nMRCGP (the Applied Knowledge Test (AKT) and
the Clinical Skills Assessment (CSA)) as well as recording your progress
with Workplace Based Assessment. Access to your portfolio is limited to your Trainer or Clinical Supervisor depending whether or not you are in a General Practice post or a Hospital post, and your Educational Supervisor. The Educational Supervisor has a key role in your e-Portfolio. Throughout your training program, your Educational Supervisor will be working closely with you, following your progress. It is the requirement of the nMRCGP that you demonstrate competence for the awarding of the degree nMRCGP and therefore the responsibility of keeping the portfolio up to date is yours. It will be your responsibility to make sure that assessments are added to the portfolio and that you keep up with the required minimum number of assignments. Your Educational Supervisors role is to oversee this process. They are not there to do the work for you. if you wish to view the minimum number of assignments you are required to complete in a new window, click here to view. |
