nMRCGP Exam dates, assessment schedules and regulations

The three year training program is based on the Royal College of General Practitioners Curriculum for General Practice

The RCGP WPBA website can be viewed by clicking "RCGP WPBA"

AKT and CSA examinations are organised via the RCGP and are RCGP run examinations

Please Note: The AKT and CSA exam dates should be confirmed with the RCGP as the dates on this page are provisional only.

WBA assessment is organised with your Clinical Supervisor or Trainer

Progress through nMRCGP is with your Educational Supervisor

Applied Knowledge Test

There will be three sittings of the AKT in each year. Candidates apply online for the next available date. Only one date will be offered at a time.
