 In order to pass nMRCGP and
gain the Certificate of Competency in Training (CCT), the GP Registrar
must demonstrate competency across the 12 Competency areas of Workplace
Based Assessment as well as pass the two examinations of AKT and CSA.
The Educational Supervisor will
assess the 12 areas of WBA competency by looking at the evidence supplied
in the GP Registrars e-Portfolio. The Deanery will be advised by the
Educational Supervisor, supported by the GP Registrars e-Portfolio in
recommending to PMETB that there has been satisfactory completion of
training such that the CCT can be issued.
To
demonstrate the 12 WBA Competencies and to enable success in the AKT and
CSA examinations, the GP Registrar needs to show that
they can cover the whole breath of General Practice. This breadth of
General Practice is encapsulated in the Curriculum. Evidence (covering
