  •  The National Prescribing Centre The National Prescribing Centre is a health service organisation, formed in April 1996 by the Department of Health.   • The Medicines Management programme of the Nottingham Primary Care Research Partnership. The focus of this programme of research is on preventing medication errors in primary care. The programme is funded by NHS R&D. www.saferprescribing.nhs.uk

  • Saferhealthcare is an online patient safety resource and an opportunity for people interested in this area to link up, share ideas and develop communities of interest. The website is a partnership between the National Patient Safety Agency (NPSA), BMJ Publishing Group, the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) and people who register on its website.
