Holidays, Rotas, Timetables and Study Leave

Study Leave Please see the attached guidelines from the Trent Deanery

Usually not more than 30 days per year ie. 15 days per 6 months. The V.T.S. half day release uses approximately 10 days in each 6 months. Trent Region has ruled that further study leave must be organised ie. courses. Working at home for exams etc. is not permissible.

Holidays

This is the same as for hospital posts. Usually 5 weeks per year ie. 2 ½ weeks per job.

Remember to discuss your holiday and study leave plans with the practice as soon as you can.
